It becomes a detriment when there's hardly any gil sink in the game anymore. It becomes a detriment when the GS is bleeding MGP from literally everywhere and it's all too easy to have millions - and nothing to spend it on. It becomes a detriment when they're throwing stuff in the cash shop when there's a certificate achievement vendor in the game that's just collecting digital dust (sorry, Jonathas). I wouldn't expect that to do terribly much, but it's the power you have here as a consumer. If you strongly don't like it, unsub and cite the Mog Station as the primary reason for your subscription cancellation. If you dislike the Mog Station, don't buy anything from it. Unfortunately, as is the case with gacha games, some users have more votes than others. This is only my instinct based on what I feel and have recognized based on paying semi-attention to what's released in the Mog Station over time.įor better or worse the main power we have as consumers here, if you feel strongly enough about it, is with the wallet. My gut feeling is that the Mog Station has been normalized in what's been added to it and in what timeframe since sometime in early or mid Stormblood at the latest.

I've also half a mind that people would twist the resulting data to fit whatever narrative they please, as is tradition.
